You just viewed my (not so) little girl jump 9 foot 7 inches!
That was great and earned her 3rd place. It was a very close competition. She was very happy and even 3rd place is "pretty awesome"
She also qualified for her class relay team. She was the third leg of the race
As exciting as the day was the best part was when she received her ribbon.
The teachers set up chairs for the kids to stand on to give the effect of a medal stand; Hayley was standing up there having her picture taken and then fell off the chair! Now for anyone else this would have been mortifying but for Hayley it was one of the funniest things ever. All her friends were laughing and so was she. I am so glad she has the kind of personality that allows her to laugh at herself instead of getting upset.
Oh and of course I don't miss anything.... with camera in hand I captured this photo...
