My Baby Girl is Growing Up...

Today Hayley "graduated" from 5th grade; actually here it's called Moving Up. Also here the Elementary School goes up to 5th grade.
Next step -- The Middle School -- Scary!
But seriously this was a very difficult day for me. Hayley was absolutely beautiful and I wish I could have video taped also (but I really wanted the photos) because she was in Select Chorus and they sang at the Moving Up Ceremony.
Our school does such a beautiful ceremony and the stage is decorated so elegantly. The kids have their names read and they walk under an lighted arch to get their certificate and shake the Principal's hand. So grown up!
Kirk had to work so Grandpa Dickey came in his place which made Hay Hay very happy. We celebrated Hayley's Moving Up as well as Zack's with Dinner at the Olive Garden.

Zack is 14

WOW I just cannot beleive that 14 years ago today after only 26 hours of labor we had Zack at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw, NY!!!!
So much has happened in 14 years....

His dad still calls Zack Hubba a name that he has used since he was a toddler or Z; everyone else calls him Zack and often Jerk.

Zack certainly has a joking personality. He is constantly annoying everyone and thinking it is funny.
Zack's favorite color is Blue, his favorite foods are Cheeseburgers and Mac n cheese. His favorite activity is any video game, Zack's favorite shows are Simpsons and Family Guy.

He just finished 8th grade - 3 out of 4 quarters on the Merit Roll - Huge accomplishment for Zack who does stuggle a little academically.

All Zack wanted for his birthday was a ticket for the upcoming Metallica concert in November. We have been telling him for months that we couldn't afford one and they were sold out. Of course we purchased one the day they went on sale and not just any ticket mom was lucky enough to get the 2nd row!!
Looks like it's a Happy Birthday!

Baseball 2009

It's baseball time again.

Connor again is a Yankee and coincidentally Riley is on the Tball Yankees! They think that is pretty cool.

Both boys love baseball and look forward to playing. Like with every other sport kick Riley gets on...he makes us play with him non stop!
